I'm a single guy in new york who had a 3000 mile affair with a woman in california. the affair resulted in pregnancy and I haven't heard from her in almost a month. she's about three months pregnant and her due date is on my birthday. the husband is abusive towards her and the child she has now.(who he is not the father of). I'm concerned for her safety...even moreso now that she's carrying my child. What I want to know is do I have any chance of gaining custody of my child at the end of the pregnancy. I'm not sure yet if my lover has decided to end our relationship or not because i haven't heard from her either way..
